James Frank “Buddy” Fultz Jr., widower of Deborah Rose Spencer Fultz, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013. He was a 54 year old native of Mt. Sterling, son of Lois Meadows of Mt. Sterling and Frank Fultz of Indiana, a retired employee from Link Belt and a member of the Pentecostal Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, James Herald (Nora Beth) Fultz of Mt. Sterling, 3 grandchildren, Shelby, Jacob and Austin Fultz, all of Mt. Sterling, a brother, Kelly Meadows of Bath County, and a sister, Sharlett Patton of Mt. Sterling. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Tippy Meadows. Mattie “Dolly” Bell Botts, widow of Herbert H. Botts, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013. She was an 81 year old native of Olive Hill, daughter of the late Jenny Bell and Joseph Searight, a retired cook from Mt. Sterling Elementary School and a member of Sharpsburg Greater First Baptist Church. She is survived by 2 daughters, Vicki Botts (Michael) Darnell of Mt. Sterling, Jennifer Botts of Indianapolis, Indiana, a son, Timothy Botts of Mt. Sterling, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, Maxine Gay of Dayton, Ohio, Margaret Botts of Owingsville and Ovella Walker of Frankfort, a brother, Rodney Searight of Victorville, California, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Herbert “Tony” Botts. Her funeral will be 1:00 Saturday at Sharpsburg Greater First Baptist Church with burial in Olive Hill Cemetery. Myrtle Roop Clemons, widow of Boone Clemons, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013. She was an 89 year old native of Morgan County, daughter of the late James and Lizzie Adams Roop, a housewife and a member of the Christian faith. She is survived by a grandson, Randy (Deborah) Moore of Ohio, a niece, Pam Conkright and a nephew, Jeff Conkright, both of Jeffersonville. Sterling, son of the late Hollie and Mary Stratt Crockett, a retired truck driver and a member of the Christian faith. He is survived by a daughter, Jane (Tony) Miller of Indiana, a son, Todd (Trudy) Crockett of Florida, 3 grandchildren, Dillan Crockett, Zachery and Jared Miller, and a sister, Alma Crockett.
