Johnnie Marlowe, widower of Alta Marie Moulton Marlowe after 56 years of marriage, of Jeffersonville, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014. He was a 78 year old native of Rockcastle County, Kentucky, son of the late Charles and Lola Stephens Marlowe, an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, and member of the Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by 6 daughters, Pam Marlowe of Means, Tammy Ray, and Lisa (Michael) Patton, both of Jeffersonville, Teresa (Scott) Whitaker of Paris, Nancy (Tim) Martin and Lola (Frankie) Moore, both of Jeffersonville, a son, Johnny Ray (Barbara) Marlowe of Jeffersonville, 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, Buel, Charles and Benny Ray Marlowe, and 5 sisters, Sylvia Evans, Peggy, Ella Moore, Pearl (Frank) Wilson and Evelyn (Cecil) Mquerry.
His funeral will be 2:00 Thursday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Marlowe Cemetery. Visitation is 5-9:00 Wednesday.Sign/View Guestbook
