Paris Lindon Davis, widower of Hazel Harper Davis, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014. He was an 89 year old native of Perry County, son of the late Alford and Ada Miller Davis, a farmer, volunteer at Windsor Care Center for many years, and a member of the Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by 5 daughters, Helen Louise Stamper, Phyllis McIntyre, and Sharon McGlothin, all of Mt. Sterling, Linda Davis of Morehead, and Pam Swartz of Owings-ville, 3 sons, Jerry Davis of North Middletown, Larry and Daris Davis, both of Mt. Sterling, 26 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Scotty Davis of Indiana, J.C. Davis of Mt. Sterling, and 2 sisters, Sue Setters and Loreana Holland, both of Mt. Sterling.
He was preceded in death by 3 sons, Henry, Darrell and Paris Davis Jr.
His funeral will be 1:00 Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Little Slate Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8:00 Tuesday.Sign/View Guestbook
