She was a 66 year old native of Montgomery County, daughter of the late William “Bill” and Mary Katherine Tipton Jones, an instructor for the government and member of High Street Christian Church and World Changers Church International. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 children, Shawn and Jason Henry, 2 grandchildren, Jeremy and Amaya Henry, and 2 cousins, Wendell and Jerry Jones. Frieda Nell Cartmill Templin, wife of Arnold Lee Templin, of Jeffersonville, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014. She was a 69 year old native of Mt. Sterling, daughter of the late Fred and Mary Francis Donohew Cartmill, and retired day care employee member of the Church of the Nazarene. In addition to her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters, Rebecca (Richard) Thomas and Vanda (James) Fountain, 2 sons, Phillip (Betty) Templin and Karl (Denise) Templin, 4 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, 4 step-great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, Patsy Chaffins, Anna Cartmill and Mary Rogers, and a brother, Ernest Cartmill, a host of nieces and nephews, and special friends, Tom, Tara, and Gracie Purnell. Paris Lindon Davis, widower of Hazel Harper Davis, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014. He was an 89 year old native of Perry County, son of the late Alford and Ada Miller Davis, a farmer, volunteer at Windsor Care Center for many years, and a member of the Pentecostal Church. He is survived by 5 daughters, Helen Louise Stamper, Phyllis McIntyre, and Sharon McGlothin, all of Mt. Sterling, Linda Davis of Morehead, and Pam Swartz of Owings-ville, 3 sons, Jerry Davis of North Middletown, Larry and Daris Davis, both of Mt. Sterling, 26 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, 2 brothers, Scotty Davis of Indiana, J.C. Davis of Mt. Sterling, and 2 sisters, Sue Setters and Loreana Holland, both of Mt. Sterling.
