She was an 88 year old native of McGoffin County, daughter of the late John and Vernie Patrick Kilgore, a retired waitress and cook and member of the First Christian Church. She is survived by a son, Roy (Rachel) Ragland of Mt. Sterling, 2 daughters, Faye Kaenzig of Lexington and Ruth Marie Ragland of South Carolina, a stepdaughter, Kathleen Ragland Grider of Lexington, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Johnnie Marlowe, widower of Alta Marie Moulton Marlowe after 56 years of marriage, of Jeffersonville, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014. He was a 78 year old native of Rockcastle County, Kentucky, son of the late Charles and Lola Stephens Marlowe, an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, and member of the Pentecostal Church. He is survived by 6 daughters, Pam Marlowe of Means, Tammy Ray, and Lisa (Michael) Patton, both of Jeffersonville, Teresa (Scott) Whitaker of Paris, Nancy (Tim) Martin and Lola (Frankie) Moore, both of Jeffersonville, a son, Johnny Ray (Barbara) Marlowe of Jeffersonville, 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, Buel, Charles and Benny Ray Marlowe, and 5 sisters, Sylvia Evans, Peggy, Ella Moore, Pearl (Frank) Wilson and Evelyn (Cecil) Mquerry. Jerry Mynhier, widower of Janet Owens Mynhier, of Sharpsburg, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014. He was a 75 year old native of Menifee County, son of Oddie Owens Mynhier of Sharpsburg and the late Jerd Mynhier, a retired employee from Oberlin College and member of Sharpsburg Greater First Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by 4 sisters, Barbara Clemons, and Virginia Mynhier both of Sharpsburg, Beulah Ashby and Sudie (Charles) Jones, both of Lexington, 4 brothers, Richard Mynhier, Ronald (Fannie) Mynhier and Charles (Theresa) Mynhier, all of Sharpsburg and Rocky Scott of Lexington, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Mynhier. His funeral will be 1:00 Wednesday at Sharpsburg Greater First Baptist Church, Rev. Darrell Ashby and Rev. Ernest Woods, husband of Ella Brooks Woods, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014. He was a 93 year old native of Wilmington, Delaware, son of the late Howard and Bertha Washington Woods, an Air Force veteran of WWII, owner and operator of a sewing machine company and member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Vernie Richard of Stafford, Texas, 2 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Fidencio Martinez Villasana, husband of Maria Matilde Sierra, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014. He was a 68 year old native of Mexico, son of the late Tomaza Martinez and Angel Villasana, a farmer and member of the Catholic Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 5 daughters, Maria, Juana, Alondra, Tomasa and Oralia Villasana, 4 sons, Fidencio, Lorenzo, Edwardo and Francisco Villasana, and several grandchildren. Martha Frances Schwickert, 62, passed away December 7, 2014. She was the daughter of the late John Edward and Frances Royse Schwickert. She is survived by her brother, John Edward Schwickert Jr. of Mt. Sterling and her sister, Annelle (Adrian) Fulmer of Lexington. Her funeral will be 10:00 Tuesday at Machpelah Cemetery. He was a 90 year old native of Bath County, son of the late Charlie and Minnie Mobins Maze, a retired employee from the city of Mt. Sterling, and member of the Queen Street Fellowship Church. He is survived by 4 daughters, Dena Saylor, Barbara Epperson, Tammy Green and Linda Moreland, all of Mt. Sterling, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and 2 brothers, Roger Maze of Mt. Sterling and Clyde Maze of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a son, Millard Allen, a daughter, Nellie Mae Ackers, and a sister, Juanita Maze. He was a former commissioner for the Reid Village Water District and a Little League baseball coach. He is survived by a son, Barry (Billie) Hickey of Lexington, 2 daughters, Trisha (Odis) Chandler of Mt. Sterling and Vicki (C.K.) Stacy of West Liberty, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
