Donald “Donnie” Ray Burnham, of Boone Avenue, passed away Friday, January 22, 2010. He was a 49 year old native of Del Rio, Texas, the son of Betty Patrick Burnham of Mt. Sterling, and the late Donald Eugene Burnham, former employee for Langley Candle Factory and loved the Cincinnati Bengals. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Donald Ray Burnham Jr., a brother, Jerry Wayne Burnham, a sister, Twila Diana Gonzalez, and special friend, Carolyn Jones, all of Mt. Sterling. Jesse B. Humphrey, of Summer Street, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2010. He was an 85 year old native of Lancaster, KY, the son of the late Clarence and Alma Murphy Humphrey, an Army veteran of WWII, retired employee from Montgomery County Vocational School after 21 years, and a member of the Church of God and Kentucky Colonels. He is survived by a son, August Humphrey of Mt. Sterling, 2 daughters, Donna Young of Irving and Carleen (Billy) Shields of Bath County, 4 grandchildren, Jeremy and Tyler Shields and Heather and Nikki Young, a sister, Virginia Mudd of Coolidge, Arizona and a brother, Gordon Humphrey of Oklahoma. She was a 93 year old native of Montgomery County, the daughter of the late Elijah and Arminta Neal Martin, former employee for Clay’s Tobacco Warehouse and a member of Spruce First Church of God. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda (John) Herald of Jeffersonville, 4 sons, Alfred, Donnie and Kenneth (Mary) Strange, all of Ft. Thomas, and Bill (Vicki) Strange of Jeffersonville, 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
