DONNA SUE WILSON BURKHEAD

DONNA SUE WILSON BURKHEAD, mother of Sean Burkhead, died Friday.

She was a 63 year old native of Menifee County, a retired nurse for Eastern State Hospital, and attended the Assembly of God church.

In addition to her son, she is survived by 2 sisters, Oma Conkright and her husband Jerry of Jeffersonville, and Dottie Tabrizi of Camargo; 1 brother, David Wilson and his wife Ruth of Brooksville, Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral will be Monday at 1 pm at Herald & Stewart Chapel with burial in the Wilson Family Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Dustin Allen Browning

Dustin Allen Browning, of Winchester, passed away Sunday. He was a 21 year old native of Montgomery County, 2006 graduate of George Rogers Clark High School, a construction worker and a member of the Baptist Church. He was the Godfather of Allen Townsend. He is survived by his father and stepmother, John and Angie Browning of Winchester, mother and stepfather, Roxie and Matthew Ray of Salt Lick, a brother and sister-in-law, Shane and Tamara Browning of Menifee County, a stepsister, Meagan Polley of Winchester, 4 stepbrothers, Kenneth Polley of Winchester, Casey and Matthew Ray and Chris Turner, all of Menifee County, 2 nephews, a niece, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Algin Lee "Smutty" Roland Jr.

Algin Lee “Smutty” Roland Jr. of Oldfield Trailer Park, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010. He was a 53 year old native of Montgomery County, the son of Catherine Hunt Roland of Mt. Sterling and the late Algin Roland Sr., former employee of Ag-Grow Fertilizer Company, a member of the Pentecostal Church and loved fishing, derby cars, and U.K. basketball. In addition to his mother, he is survived by 2 sons, Dereck and Brandon Williams, a granddaughter, Nevaeh Williams, 4 brothers and sisters-in-law, William “Romeo” and Debbie Roland, George Allen and Patty Roland, Morgan Wayne and Barbara Roland, and David Eugene and Emma Roland, all of Mt. Sterling, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Joe Roland and 2 sisters, Betty Jo and Mary Alice Roland. Glenna Lou Potter, wife of Mitchell Potter, of Sewell Shop Rd., passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010. She was a 65 year old native of Montgomery County, the daughter of the late Holt Hall and Mildred Barnett Richards, a graduate of the University of Kentucky, a retired accountant, co-owner and co-operator of Big Ridge Farms in Clark and Montgomery Counties, a member of the Baptist Church, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Mitchell, a daughter, Lynn (Keith) Ratliff and a granddaughter, Allison Paige Ratliff, all of Winchester, a brother, Lonnie Hon of Richmond, a sister, Phyllis Pelfrey of Somerset, 2 uncles, Jack (Jeanetta) Barnett of Camargo, and Merle (Judy) Barnett of Jeffersonville, several nieces and nephews, and 2 special friends, Joyce Roach and Peggy Burris. Virginia Faye Colvin Maloney, widow of William Paul Maloney, passed away Monday, March 8, 2010. She was a 73 year old native of Montgomery County, the daughter of the late James and Flossie Martin Colvin, a former sales clerk and a member of the Baptist Church. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Sheila Maloney of Mt. Sterling, 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Anita Dawn and Ricky Richmond of Sharpsburg, Lisa Michelle and David Albright of Paris, 10 grandchildren, Marlean White, Greg and Michael Maloney, Denise Dykes, Ricky Richmond Jr., Rusty Richmond, Brandon and Tyler Albright, Christopher and Brittony Maloney, 9 greatgrand-children, and special friend, Mildred Prather.
