Juanita Skaggs Packett, of Salt Lick, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010. She was a 72 year old native of Rowan County, the daughter of the late William Martin and Olive Perkins Skaggs, former employee of Cowden Manufacturing, and attended Lucky Stop Pentecostal Church of God. She is survived by a daughter, Patty Wilson of Jeffersonville, a son, Roger Wilson of Brooksville, Florida, 3 granddaughters, Tara Jo Perry of Winchester, Christy and Nikki Wilson, both of Florida, 3 grandsons, Adams Gross of Georgetown, Kash and Samuel Wilson, both of Brooksville, Florida, 2 brothers, Gerald and William M. Skaggs Jr., both of Jeffersonville, 2 sisters, Barbara Ann Lykins of Franklin, Ohio and Shirley Mae Parks of Frenchburg. John Henry Warner, husband of Dora Fay Letcher Warner, of Summer St., passed away Monday, April 26, 2010. He was a 76 year old native of Bath County, the son of the late Espy Sanford and Mildred Pergram Warner, former employee of Amburgey Farm Supply, a farmer and a member of the Church of the Harvest. He loved the outdoors and fishing. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Mike (Katie) Warner of Mt. Sterling and Randy (Susie) Warner of Nicholasville, a daughter, Connie (Kelly) Barnett of Mt. Frances Jewell Hunt McMillen, widow of Joseph Charles McMillen, of Winn St., passed away Friday, April 23, 2010. She was a 62 year old native of Montgomery County, the daughter of the late Henry Clay and Lena Manley Hunt, a housewife and a member of the Baptist Church. She is survived by 2 sons, Joe (Janet) McMillen and Anthony (Kasey) McMillen, all of Mt. Sterling, a daughter, Heidi McMillen of Dawson Springs, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 3 sisters, Bonnie Cain of Dawson Springs, Sharon Denny of Dayton, Ohio and Anna Lovely of Columbus, Ohio, a brother, Samuel Hunt of Mass- achusetts, and several nieces and nephews. Her graveside service will be 1:00 Tuesday at Bryan Cemetery in Elizabethtown. Henry “Larry” Ellis Jr., husband of Imogean Reed Ellis, of Tims Dr., passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010. He wa an 83 year old native of Louisa, the son of the late Henry and Elizabeth Roberts Ellis, an Army veteran of WWII, retired assistant chief engineer from CSX Railroad, and a member of Union Baptist Church and American Legion Post 22. He loved woodworking, making furniture and what-nots, golfing and gardening. He was unofficially in the Guiness Book of World Records. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Linda Ellis of Mt. Sterling, and special friends and caregivers, Sharon Haynes of Mt. Sterling and Mary Grayson of Owingsville. She was a 56 year old native of Chicago, IL, and a former factory worker for A. O. Smith and CMS.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Robin Dennis of Mt. Sterling; 2 sons, Stephen Dennis and Joe Dennis and his wife Chasity, both of Jeffersonville; 5 grandchildren, Jordan Dennis, and Amendia Lane, both of Mt. Sterling, and Bridget Dennis, Jeffery Willoughby, and Haley Willoughby, all of Jeffersonville.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals with burial in McQuire Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until time of service Saturday. Contributions requested by family to cover cost of funeral expense.
