Ruth Smith Osborn, widow of Cleve Osborn Jr., passed away Monday, October 25, 2010. She was an 80 year old native of Pike County, the daughter of the late Fred Franklin and Mae Bartley Smith, a homemaker and a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church. She is survived by 2 sons, Larry (Judy) Osborn of Versailles and Greg (Sherry) Osborn of Lexington, 3 daughters, Carol Moore of Lexington, Garnetta (Byron) Baxter of Newman, Illinois, and Kathy Hunt of Nashville, Tennessee, 10 grandchildren, several great- and great-great-grandchildren, a brother, Okey Smith of Lexington and a sister, Emma Proroczok of California. Addie McIntosh Durham, widow of John Willie Durham, passed away Monday, October 18, 2010. She was an 85 year old native of Owsley County, the daughter of the late Shelby and Ellen Cole McIntosh, and a retired employee from Maloney Enterprises after 23 years. She is survived by a daughter, Janet Martin of Mt. Sterling, a son, Wendell Durham of Lexington, 4 grandchildren, Shawna, Angie, Dana and Stacy, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Richard Dee Boyd, husband of Mary Alice Duke Boyd, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010. He was a 77 year old native of Bath County, the son of the late John Dee and Bessie Brooks Boyd, retired employee from McCormick Lumber Company, and a member the Sharpsburg Greater First Bapitst Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters, Mary Boyd Nutter of Mt. Sterling and Aleta Lynn Boyd of Memphis, Tennessee, 4 grandchildren, Tah (Phillip) Holland and Davina (Mike) Thomas, both of Mt. Sterling, Daniel (DJ) Jointer of Dallas, Texas and Jason Jointer of Swansboro, North Carolina, 5 great-grand-children, Dashane Jones, Mecca Thomas and Easton Jointer, all of Mt. Sterling, Trey Jointer of Cincinnati, Ohio and Latrel Jointer of Pennsylvania, father-in-law, Estill Duke Sr., and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. LARRY M. GILLIAM, 33, husband of Tracy Gilliam, of Alexa Dr., died Sunday. He worked as a Catalyst Technician for Clean Harbors, a company in the petroleum industry. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 children, Samantha, Joseph, and Emily Gilliam all of Mt. Sterling; his mother and step-father, Alice and Kenneth Gross of Mt. Sterling; his father and step-mother, Larryette and Angie Gilliam of Eatonton, GA; 1 brother, Robert Gilliam of Holiday, FL; 1 half-brother, Matthew Gilliam of Eatonton, GA; 2 step-sisters, Bridgett Gross of Pike Co. and April Gilliam of Eatonton, GA; mother-in-law and step-father-in-law, Angela and Kurt Wilson of Michigan; father-in-law and step-mother-in-law, Steven and Dorothy Atherton of Michigan; 1 brother-in-law and 1 sister-in-law, Steven Atherton and Jennifer Warneck, both of Michigan.
