Marvin Donald Foley, husband of Marjorie Griffin Foley, of Paris, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011. He was an 88 year old native of Montgomery County, son of the late Joe and Adah Dunaway Foley, an Army veteran of
WWII, a farmer for over 60 years, former manager of 4th Street Tobacco Warehouse, and a member of the 1st Church of God.
In addition ot his wife of 61 years, he is survived by a daughter, Brenda Foley Mitchell and a son, Donnie Ray (Jeanene) Foley, all of Paris, 6 grandchildren, Craig (Shawn) Foley, Shane (Heather) Foley, Kristin (Josh) Tucker, Maria (Josh) Pennington, Gina (Kevin) Rose, and Jason Mitchell, 10 great-grandchildren, Mason and Anna Foley, Brooklyn, Sophia, and Nathan Pennington, Halie, Clay and Colby Rose, Taylor and Kennedi Mitchell, a brother, Erman (Henrietta) Foley of Paris, and a brother-in-law, Ray Finnell of Edgewood.
His funeral will be 1:00 Thursday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Wednesday.
