She was an 83 year old native of Magoffin County, daughter of the late Ogea Risner and Andrew Ritchie, a housekeeper and a member of the Christian faith. She is survived by her caregiver, Lisa Banks of Georgetown, a sister, Reva (Woodrow) Baxter of Ohio, 3 brothers, Oris Ritchie Jr., Gordon Ritchie and William J. Ritchie, all of Mt. Sterling, and several nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be 1:00 Thursday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery. She is survived by 2 daughters, Ellen Marie Lee and Ella Sparks, 3 sons, Bennie Johnson Sr., David Johnson and Johnny Johnson, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Viola Craft and Rosie Willoughby, and a brother, Ray Watkins. Richard Barnes, husband of Ada Banks Barnes, passed away Friday, June 22, 2012. He was a 71 year old native of Montgomery County, son of the late Floyd and Della Mae Sexton Barnes, a retired employee from the Department of Transportation and a member of the Full Gospel Lighthouse Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 8 daughters, Marenda Barnett of Powell County, Bethel Barnes of Lexington, Angie Samples of Berea, Leslie Crouch of Salt Lick, Judy Wilson, Gail Thompson and Ashtyn Taylor, all of Mt. Sterling, and Tammy King of Frenchburg, 2 sons, Charles Barnes of Jeffersonville and Richard Barnes of Mt. Sterling, 3 sisters, Mary Ruth Patton and Barbara Byrd, both of Mt. Sterling and Beulah Banks of Jeffersonville, a brother, James Lee Barnes Sr. of Stanton, 33 grand-children, and 29 great-grandchildren. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his friend and partner of 45 years, Alma Vice of Mt. Sterling, 3 sisters, Mary (A.J.) Williams of Jeffersonville, Virginia (Bob) Kramer of Love City, Ohio, and Nancy (Doug) Caudill of Dry Ridge, 4 brothers, Cyde (Gretchen) Eller and Charles (Pearl) Eller, both of Versailles, Jimmy Eller of Lexington and Dwight (Penny) Lowe of Georgetown, and several nieces and nephews.
