Connie Dennis Brooks, mother of Brenda Maney, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011. She was a 47 year old native of Mt. Sterling, daughter of the late William and Nola Faye Toy Dennis, and a nurse. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by a brother, Rodney Lane Martin, a sister, Tammy Martin Riddell, and a grandchild, DeAaron Lee Maney. Her memorial service will be 6:30 Thursday at Reid Village Baptist Church. Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
