SANDRA RUTH (BROWN) LEFFEW

Sandra Ruth Brown Leffew, age 78, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2026, at St. Joseph Main Hospital, Lexington, KY.  Sandra was born June 10, 1948, in Somerset, KY to the late Robert Carl and Margorie Smith Brown. Sandra dedicated her life helping others as a nurse until she retired. She was of the Catholic faith.

Sandra is survived by 1 son-Douglas Leffew of Nebraska; 1 sister-Debbie Nolder of Maysville; Granddaughter: Callie (James) Lockwood of Jeffersonville;

Besides her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by: 3 sisters: Jeannette Dlugon, Patty Broughton, Ronnie Brown; 2 brothers: Robert Brown and Danny Brown.

A Memorial Service will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 14th at Herald & Stewart Home For Funerals. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m.  Officiated by Larry Robinson.
